Welcome to Perimeter Bicycling’s registration for
23rd Cochise County Cycling Classic
Saturday, October 9, 2010
To cover the cost of online registration,
a $7.00 convenience fee (reduced from $8.00) per each registration
will be added to your total event fees.
Aerobars are prohibited in all Perimeter Bicycling events
except the 234 & 157-mile events of the Cochise County Cycling Classic.
CPSC-approved helmet required.
For all fees paid, absolutely NO REFUNDS.
Fees, registration and rider numbers are NOT TRANSFERABLE to another person or event.

Douglas Association for Retarded Citizens
Cochise Classic’s beneficiary
Douglas ARC provides training and employment for developmentally
challenged individuals, in conjunction with nutrition services for the
community’s elderly population. Clients prepare and serve more
than 300 congregate meals daily in the communities of
Bisbee and Douglas. More than 50 of Douglas ARC’s
clients who have participated in the training program
have been successful in securing employment in private
businesses in the community

Event Distances for Cochise Classic
234 miles. Start time: 2:00 a.m. An ultra-distance event. At all times, cyclists are required to be fully supported by a follow vehicle with a minimum of one crew member. All state and local road and traffic laws apply, especially night riding requiring appropriate lighting on the bicycle and the follow vehicle. This event starts before dawn, all bicycles must be equipped with legal lighting at the start line. Support crew and cyclist are required to attend the pre-ride meeting in Douglas, AZ the night before the event.
157 miles. Start time: 6:20 a.m. An ultra-distance event. At all times, cyclists are required to be fully supported by a follow vehicle with a minimum of one crew member. All state and local road and traffic laws apply, especially night riding requiring appropriate lighting on the bicycle and the follow vehicle. Support crew and cyclist are required to attend the pre-ride meeting in Douglas, AZ the night before the event.
92 miles. Start time: 6:30 a.m. Aid stations with snacks and water are set up along the route, however you should bring extra water, food/nutrition and especially electrolytes.
45 miles. Start time: 8:00 am. Aid stations with snacks and water are set up along the route, however you should bring extra water, food/nutrition and especially electrolytes.

EARN A CONQUISTADOR TROPHY!
Select this level and sign on to raise $500 or more for Tu Nidito. You will earn the Conquistador Trophy
(see below for details) and receive all regular event benefits as well as an event poster. You will
also have your choice of either a 2010 Perimeter Bicycling jersey or Prize Certificates.Event Poster. A specially designed, limited edition 18 x 24 poster commemorating the event. Our posters have won awards! View the complete poster collection.
Prize Certificates. For total contributions of $200 and more, two Prize Certificates for every $10 will be issued. Certificates are redeemable for goods or services at Perimeter Bicycling’s Information and Redemption Centers.
Conquistador Trophy. This award is a distinctive metal bicycle sculpture mounted on stone hand made by artist Toni Sodersten of Bisbee, Arizona.
Perimeter Bicycling Jersey. This limited edition lightweight jersey is suitable for year-round cycling made by Pactimo. Visit El Tour Perimeter Store for details and sizes.
