TriSports.com/El Tour 201 & 202 Mechanical Classes
NEW! Starting June 28

TriSports.com retail store has been selected by Perimeter Bicycling to host a new series of bike mechanical care classes in conjunction with the
2008 El Tour de Tucson.

-The 201 Class will prepare new cyclists to deal with basic roadside maintenance. Fee: $15

-The 202 Class is aligned with the Park Tool School will provides more in-depth information for riders who are more experienced and who are looking for a greater understanding of how their bike works.  Bring your bike as this is a hands-on class. Fee: $75

Both courses are taught by TriSports.com’s lead mechanic Rudy Vazquez.  Please contact the store at (520) 884-8743 or email Rudy (rudy@trisports.com) to reserve your space for a class.  Space is limited so sign up early!

Perimeter Cyclist To Raise Funds and Awareness For
Safe Drinking Water in Africa

P
erimeter Bicycling cyclist, supporter and member Bob Malzahn will set off on his perimeter ride of Idaho on August 2, 2008 as he raises funds for Living Water International, an organization promoting safe drinking water resources within Africa. Malzahn, who currently holds the records for cycling the perimeters of Oregon, Montana and Washington, hopes to set the record for his perimeter ride of Idaho in 15-18 days on the bike, cycling some 1,802 miles. Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, Inc. extends its best wishes to Malzahn for a most successful perimeter adventure. Learn more

Come be a part of the excitement in Perimeter Bicycling’s 21st Cochise County Cycling Classic, held Saturday, October 11, 2008 in Douglas, AZ.  Ride 45, 92, 157 or take the 252-mile challenge and see why Cochise Classic is the “secret gem” of Perimeter Bicycling events. (157 and 252-mile cyclists must have own support crew/vehicle.) All routes offer the beautiful desert backdrop of the Dragoon and Chiricahua Mountains of southeastern Arizona. Learn more
