Executive Director of the League of American Bicyclists
Andy Clarke, Executive Director of the nationally recognized, Washington, DC-based bicycle advocacy organization the League of American Bicyclists, has been selected by Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, Inc as its 2008 dedication recipient for Holualoa Companies 17th El Tour de Phoenix presented by Pierson Construction Corporation.

A Dedication Dinner will be held in honor of Clarke and will take place on Thursday, April 3 at 6:30pm at the Windemere Hotel & Conference Center in Mesa, AZ. The dinner is open to the public; reservations are required and seating is limited. Please R.S.V.P. no later than by March 28.

Benefiting Homeless Children Through The Real Gift Foundation
What: 65, 25 and 10 mile bicycle ride through Paradise Valley and North Scottsdale. Includes outstanding police and volunteer support, food and water stations, bike mechanics, rider support vehicles, post-ride breakfast, and event T-shirt.
Benefits: Over 12,000 homeless children who attend schools in Maricopa County. Funds raised from this event provide everything from new playgrounds, school supplies and books, to clothes, hygiene items, holiday meals and toys.

Arizona Bicycle Conference 2008
" Building Communities, Building Trails"
Coalition of Arizona Bicyclists Arizona Bicycle Conference 2008, presented by Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, Inc., will highlight the latest programs relating to bicycling issues in the state of Arizona. Guest speakers within the bicycle transportation and trail building disciplines will speak and answer your questions, including Andy Clarke, Executive Director of the League of American Bicyclists. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the most recent developments in bicycle safety, transportation, trail building, and planning. Seating limited to 100 attendees. Early registration is encouraged.

Elephant Head Mountain Bike Challenge
presented by Xtreme Bicycling

Elephant Head Mountain Bike Challenge is a 16-mile bicycle adventure through Coronado National Forest in the Santa Rita Mountains of Southern Arizona. Limited to 250 cyclists. Event proceeds benefit Elephant Head Fire Rescue.
Elephant Head Mountain Bike Challenge is sanctioned, produced and directed by Xtreme Bicycling of Nogales, Mexico in association with Perimeter Bicycling Association of America, Inc.
